Itinerary

Day 1
ZANZIBAR TO NGORONGORO CRATER.
Depart from Zanzibar with a flight to Arusha Airport, where you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred to the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is about a 4-hour drive into the crater. There are 25,000 large mammals residing in the park. The elephants are mainly bulls. The grassy plains are also home to black rhinos, which account for nearly half of the remaining population in East Africa (about 20 in total). In the late afternoon, depart from the crater and head back to the lodge. Overnight at Tloma Lodge.
Day 2
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK AND RETURN TO ZANZIBAR
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park. Spend the day game driving in this park, which is also known as the elephant playground due to its high density of elephants. Explore many different areas of the park and enjoy a packed lunch at one of the picnic sites inside the park, then drive back to Arusha airport for a flight to Zanzibar.
